l Maintains knowledge and flexibility to work in the park when required by staffing needs. Reviews staffing levels locations to
ensure each can run effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with Minor Labor Laws.
l Maintain clear, concise, and specific lines of communication between management, associates, and other departments.
Displays positive attitude about the park and department to all associates. Responds to and takes appropriate action to
resolve concerns and complaints from park guests and associates.
l Ensures that all work, guest storage and service areas are cleaned and meet local and state sanitation guidelines, evaluates
job performance recommendations. Understands and complies with all aspects of Health Codes and the safe handling/serving
of foods and drinks.
l Ensures all safety procedures are followed; responds to emergency situations.
l Works with full time managers to establish departmental goals and direction. Tracks labor percent, hours, and dollars for each
operating location. Achieves department per capita and revenue goals within an established labor and cost of sale budget.
l Ensures that associates are trained in all facets of the operation such as service procedure, production flow, equipment usage
and cleaning, and menu items. Ensures proper cash handling procedures are followed to prevent loss/theft. Provides
associates with the necessary information and tools to effectively do their jobs.
l Completes administrative paperwork (i.e. time cards, schedules, labor reports, supervisor evaluations, and associate file
documents) as required by department. Moves throughout the area of responsibility regularly to maintain awareness of total
l Selects, trains, directs, schedules, evaluates, and coaches staff with appropriate documentation, Conducts counseling
sessions as required.
l Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including
initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
l Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines
and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
l Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
l Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
l Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee
Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
