This critical role ensures that:- All pre-audit preparation material requested by the auditor are provided in a professional and timely manner- Auditor requests during the audit are provided timely and with appropriate support- TA management remediation efforts to address audit findings are submitted timely- Remediation supporting documentation adequately demonstrates resolution of the issues cited- Remediation includes controls that prevent future occurrence&The position requires enhancing TA s audit tracker to ensure that all related requests and commitments are centrally documented.
In addition, the tracker should be enhanced to provide reporting to senior management about the state of all ongoing and upcoming audit commitments on a periodic basis.
Escalation methods should be enhanced to alert the TA management team when commitments are not being met in accordance with our commitments.&Collaboration with key members of the TA team is critical to ensure success in this role, as the Audit Liaison will not be the owner of any of the audit preparation or remediation activities, but instead will influence those responsible for the successful delivery of these commitments.&&To the extent possible, the Audit Liaison will work with the Client Success and Internal Audit teams to enable scheduling that is least disruptive to the TA business by staggering audit schedules over the year and avoiding bombardment of individual departments for audit requests and tasks.&&While outside regulatory audits are managed by TA s Legal Department, the Audit Liaison will be a resource for Legal to help track and manage related requests following the methodology outlined herein.&&Responsibilities (short term):Enhance approach to supporting audits to ensure pre-audit and post-audit commitments are met and closure of issues are evidencedEnhance audit tracker to ensure documentation of audits are centrally available and managed timelyImprove Management dashboards outlining progress on Audits and related hot-spots&Responsibilities (long term):Work with TA Client Success teams to ensure that Client Audits are staggered evenly throughout the year&Provide ongoing training and guidance to the organization on how to ensure audits are managed effectively
