KU Watkins Health Service seeks a full time Health Educator for the ambulatory health center on the Lawrence campus. This position is responsible for preparing and presenting health education programs to students and the KU community.
Requires a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education or other-related field; Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification eligible; minimum 6 months experience in assessment/data collection and program development/management; minimum 2 years of college health work experience with a focus on programs/initiatives to reduce high-risk behaviors; one year of this experience may include internship, graduate assistantship, or master’s degree projects; and current CPR certification or within six months of hire. Must be available for programming during some evenings and weekends.
