Supervises and coordinates activities of employees in warehouse to meet customer receiving and shipping requirements based on procedures by performing the below requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, Organizes and Controls the overall operations of the warehouse including re-pack operation in relation to company objectives and set targets.
Sets up and maintains layout and space management, work organization chart and procedures such as SOP’s and 5’s activities.
Maintains housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding areas.
Ensures that workplace health and safety requirements are met, takes responsibility of the security of the building and contents, and promotes a culture that promotes safety.
Manages Inventory control: manages receival of all goods, storage, retrieval, re-pack and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry into WMS/financial systems.
Monitors subordinates to ensure they are following customer specific requirements in the handling of all orders and shipments.
Controls inventory levels by conducting cycle counts; reconciling between the WMS system and T4M system balancing inventories and preparing inventory discrepancy reports.
Schedules personnel based on workload to meet all shipping requirement windows.
Promotes constant motivation among staff to strive for efficient and effective operations to meet company goals and directives.
Performs customer service duties as needed to meet emergency requirements.
Performs job responsibilities in compliance with applicable sections of ISO/TS 16949; ISO/ 14001; and OHSAS 18001 as well as Nitto standards and policy requirements above and beyond these certifications.
Supports warehouse operations in the event the Manager of Warehouse Operations is not available.
Works closely with Production, Customer Service and Materials to assure customer demands are fulfilled and strict window times are met.

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in related field from 4-year college or university; or minimum of 5 years work experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Directly supervises employees in the Distribution Center/Warehouse. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations polices and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include working with the Manager of Warehouse Operations and Human Resources for interviewing, hiring, and training employees. Also included are assigning and directing work; appraising work performance, rewarding and coaching employees; and addressing complaints both internally and externally.

To perform this job successfully a person must have a minimum of intermediate computer skills being able to learn and operate Database software, Manufacturing software, Microsoft Office Programs as well as vast experience and knowledge of WMS systems.
