This is a 3rd shift position, 11pm-7:30am. RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Understand and follow all safety precautions for proper operation of machines and equipment used while performing their job responsibilities. 2. Pre-shift exercise / stretching activity performed before you can enter production area unless written doctor’s release provided to Human Resources. 3. To operate molding presses to open or close molds for repairs. In doing repairs use Mag tray. 4. To troubleshoot basic problems in the molding process pertaining to the mold. 5. To assist Set-Up in setting and pulling molds. 6. Assist Bench person with repairs and help clean molds as needed. 7. Understand the importance of the Mold Check Progress Form and mold cleaning procedure checklist. 8. To clean and check molds. 9. Assist other Tool Room employees in their repair of molds or equipment. To water, air and electrical test molds before leaving the shop. 10. To Green-tag molds to ensure molds are production ready. 11. Notify Tooling Manager or Group Leader of molds that are damaged or in need of repairs. 12. Record on the Mold Maintenance File any maintenance completed on every mold. This will include the date, person doing the work, and what work was completed. The information should be specific and brief. 13. Notify Group Leader or Lead person of supplies needed for day-to-day operation of the Tool Room. 14. Keep the Tool Room clean. 15 Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Tooling Manager or Group Leader. 16. To fully understand & utilize the established ISO & AIB procedures. 17. Complete inspections as required.

1. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
3. Able to work around grease, oils, and solvents without adverse reaction. 4. Must be able to stand, walk bend, stoop & squat throughout entire 8 hr shift. 5. Must have good manual dexterity. 6. Must be able to differentiate color.
